Just enjoyed our third stay at this lovely hotel. Excellent location in the village of Carvoeiro yet, not bothered by noise in the evening. Rooms cleaned daily and free toiletries always replenished. Good to see the hotel has had a makeover to the reception, dining room and bar/lounge - beautifully done. Barriers not installed so plenty of parking for hotel residents only. All areas of the hotel are kept spotless. Hope to be booking again soon. Many thanks for another enjoyable stay.

My only complaint was at breakfast time. I was told that breakfast would not be served after 10.30. Each morning I arrived for breakfast around 10.15am and served myself my breakfast which was very well presented. However, one member of the staff would watch me from the time I arrived to the moment I left. I was reading my book as I was eating. However, she just kept looking over at me and other guests. It made me feel so uncomfortable whilst eating. I felt like she wanted me and other guests at other tables to eat their breakfast up and leave because she wanted to go home. On holidays I like to sit and eat my first meal of the day at a leisurely pace. It was so uncomfortable that I dreaded going into my breakfast. On the last day I arrived at 10.16 and was embarrassed into rushing my breakfast and left the room at 10.50 and I was very cross. Maybe you could advise the kitchen staff that serve the breakfast not to be staring at the guests - ready to pounce to clear the table!

I stayed at Mirachoro with my daughter and husband for a week - in the beginning of August this year (2018). Great! From the initial email with Gisela, to enquire about an early arrival, the arrival itself, where we were greeted and checked in by Mario (who during the whole week had been such a helpful 'guide' as he had been doing a lot of the tourists' hotspots himself), throughout the whole stay and the check-out. The staff (reception, restaurant, housekeeping and masseuse) have been very polite, helpful, understanding, welcoming and understood to keep stumm (I had booked 2-3 trips without my family's knowledge - they were surprises for both of them). A special thankyou needs to be given: INES, the masseuse. I had been in an accident weeks prior to our holiday on top of general tension. I booked 3 massages with Ines, and she is absolutely fantastic!!! The food is good, the swimming pool is well kept, the hotel itself is clean and tidy, as was our room. To be recommended!!!

There a few unfavourable comments on Trip Avisor and myself and wife and fiends who we have met at the hotel find it unbvelievable that people can find fault with the hotel. Such trivial things. My wife and I have been there for four years and the rooms are clean and spacious. The staff..especially Carlos...are wonderful and the location is perefect. Small walk downhill to the bottom of town. No problem. Decor is colourful and imaginative...Photos in front of the painted walls lokk great. Breakfast is superb...nothing whatsoever to complain about. Carvoeiro is a great place for couples and families and teenagers. Plenty of nice places to each...mostly half the price of british meals.Sea is cold but fantastic and the coastal paths and views are amazing.. Anybody who complains about the hotel is not representative of most people who use this hotel. It`s a great place.
